TEAM & NETWORK
The team behind the project
REBORN is powered by a consortium of leading organisations and experts in sustainability, energy, and technology. Our partners include research institutions, universities, and industry innovators.
FELLOW PROJECTS
REBORN collaborates with other EU-funded projects to promote the circular economy and innovative recycling technologies
BIG LEAP
The BIG LEAP project is a Horizon Europe initiative aimed at improving the reliability of second-life batteries (SLBs) by addressing interoperability in Battery Management Systems (BMS). It develops a three-layer BMS architecture specifically designed for SLBs and integrates an adaptable Energy Storage System (ESS) to ensure safe performance from first-life (FL) to second-life BESS applications.
Battery2Life
BATTERY2LIFE is a project, funded under the Horizon Europe framework programme that will facilitate the smooth transition of EV batteries to 2nd life use and boost the innovation of the European Battery Industry by providing enablers to implement open, adaptable smart Battery Management Systems (BMS) and improved system designs towards reliable reconfiguration of used batteries.
